1)Acer Aspire 5: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

I find the Acer Aspire 5 to be a very functional laptop. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Go is powered by the same four-core Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor used in this Aspire 5. Although it performs well, its battery life is terrible, and its graphics are severely outdated. Let’s begin with the design because it is the same across the two models. In my opinion, the Aspire 5 looks just fine – it won’t compete with a Dell XPS, but it’s still a good laptop from all angles. Silver and black are among the color options available. Mostly it is plastic, except the top cover (the part that most people will see) is aluminum. (I have the silver one, although the black looks nicer.)

In terms of its keyboard and screen, the keyboard and screen flex, but not so much that I felt concerned about snapping it in half; with 3.7 pounds (1.8 kg) of weight and a 14.3 x 9.9 x 0.7-inch size, it’s neither ultraportable nor overly bulky. Despite being light and not too fat, the Aspire is quite broad, which means it can be tricky to fit in a standard backpack behind a stack of books and binders.

Furthermore, the display is somewhat disappointing on paper. According to my measurements, it covers only 66 percent of the sRGB gamut and 50 percent of AdobeRGB. I measured it at a maximum brightness of 220 nits. The keyboard on the Aspire is lovely. A backlight illuminates it, and it’s quiet and responsive. If you’re not bothered by clickiness, it’s mushier. There’s a Numpad on the right side, which is nice, but it pushes the touchpad left. This was a real problem for someone who has small hands.

Nonetheless, for the same (or similar) price, you’d be able to get all those benefits and a 6-core AMD processor for the 15-inch form factor; I see no reason not to go that way. If you can’t find an AMD system, make sure to dig around or wait for it to become available. You’ll see a noticeable difference between the Swift 3 and the Ryzen-powered Swift 3 if you’re willing to spend a little more. The Ryzen-powered swift three will also offer longer battery life and better build quality. Those benefits make it more than worthwhile for students and workers on the go.

These all features make it best gaming laptop under 500 range.

Customer response after purchasing:

If we look towards amazon to see its ratings then it’s a little bit low than we expect. Acer Aspire 5 has 4 out of 5 stars which is pretty good according to its features. According to most people’s perspective, it’s a good laptop to use especially for students, for gamers, havier photoshop, video editing, and high storage requirement as well. The keyboard is just amazing due to the backlit feature of that product. Also, most people consider its specs much good according to its cheap reasonable price. Moreover, its connectivity options are also good.

But some precious users gave this product a little low rating due to some features that did not work properly. Like some consider its battery life not so well. Its off-center touchpad which down its value. Moreover, some consider its screen quality, not soo well. Photos on that product did not look so much clear and sharp on that gadget.

2)Lenovo IdeaPad 330: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

The Lenovo Idea Pad 330 (reviewed at $265) is an outstanding laptop choice if you’re on a tight budget and will only be doing basic online tasks. A desktop replacement machine of this size and price usually lacks a sturdy chassis and comfortable keyboard. A DVD drive is even included in the Idea Pad 330, which we see on most laptops these days.

There are multiple configurations of the Idea Pad 330, each priced differently. With a 15.6-inch, 1366 x 768-pixel display, an Intel Celeron N4100 microprocessor, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB, 5,400-rpm hard drive, our $265 test model performed exceptionally well.

Upon first glance, the IdeaPad 330 appears to be just another laptop. In other words, if I asked you to draw a computer, you would probably come up with a design similar to the Idea Pad 330. The silver lid has a Chrome logo in one corner and is rectangular with rounded corners. A silver lid covers the Idea Pad, and its black undercarriage is made of hard plastic. The chassis is neither thick nor thin, and there’s nothing creative about the interior.

While the Idea Pad 330 isn’t a 2-in-1 laptop and doesn’t have a touch screen, its flexible hinge makes it easy to adjust its angle when sitting on your couch or showing the screen to others around you.

With such a low-cost laptop, it is difficult to criticize its low-resolution display. A slightly more expensive laptop with a 1080p display will provide a much sharper image than the 15.6-inch, 1366 x 768 monitor of the IdeaPad 330. I received excellent results from the Lenovo Ideapad 330, which boots fast, shuts down quickly, and performs well. Despite its limitations for editing videos or hard-core gaming, it is more than capable of handling other tasks and works well with photos, videos, and casual games.

You’re pretty much limited to games from the Windows App Store if you want to play them on the IdeaPad 330. A single frame rate of 14 frames per second was reached when playing Dirt 3 on the device, which falls far short of our 30-frames per second playability threshold. On the Aspire E 15 (UHD Graphics 620), the game ran at 56 frames per second; on the average budget laptop, it runs at 28 frames per second.

With its large, 15.6-inch display, an excellent keyboard, a solid, durable chassis, and an ultra-affordable price tag, the Idea Pad 330 is the perfect laptop for anyone on a budget. Though the Idea Pad 330 might satisfy some people, there are too many flaws – such as short battery life, an unimpressive display, and below-average performance – for it to be recommended outright.

3)Dell Inspiron 15 3000:best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

With Dell’s Inspiron 3000 series, you can choose between three screen sizes and chassis types. Its manufacturer, Dell, offers it for just $293, and it costs $369 with our review configuration. While this laptop boasts all the mechanical features of a solid cheap laptop, its performance is lacking, particularly its display quality. Nonetheless, if your budget is modest, you probably won’t miss these issues so much. A full HD screen and AMD Ryzen/Intel Core processor can improve your computing experience significantly if you cannot spare that extra $30 or so.

Inspiron 15 3000 takes advantage of this by almost exclusively using plastic instead of expensive metal alloys, thus slimming down its weight. Yes, this means that the laptop’s low-cost roots are exposed for all to see. However, it does not mean that it is unsightly. Rather than having just an endless expanse of smooth plastic, the keyboard and wrist rest are separated by a small divot in the black plastic. The keyboard deck has a little give, but it’s nothing to worry about. Laptops tend to be noisy and creaky in this price range, but this laptop is exceptionally quiet, and the display hinge is incredibly sturdy.

The Dell Inspiron 3000 laptop has a 15.60-inch display and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, making it a Windows 10 laptop. With a Pentium Dual-Core processor and 4GB of RAM, it offers incredible power and flexibility. 500GB of HDD storage is available in the Dell Inspiron 3000.

This computer is equipped with Intel HD Graphics 520. WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, Ethernet are the connectivity options, and it has 3 USB ports (1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0), a microphone connection, and RJ45 (LAN) ports and also comes with a power jack.

Despite having a simple but comfortable keyboard, the Inspiron 15 3000 is easy to use. Backlighting is not available on the keyboard, but essential labels have an easy-to-read font. As a result of the short travel distance, the key switches feel pretty solid, but the typing experience is a little stiff. Those who prefer spreadsheets will be pleased to see a specialized number pad with a calculator shortcut key on the right.

Which one is good for gaming and streaming with some video editing, AMD Ryzen 5, or Intel i5?

It’s quite difficult to answer that question without falling light on a different aspect of both AMD and Intel.

  • If we talk about graphics and picture quality then AMD Ryzen takes more marks because it provides much clear picture quality, so gaming, streaming, and video editing are much better for you.
  • Now in the case of several cores and threads then also AMD Ryzen is on the top due to more numbers. For example, Ryzen 5 3600X has six cores and 12 threads. On the other hand, Core i5-9600k has six cores but is only limited to six threads.

  • AMD is more budget-friendly than i5 so, choose it for a better experience.

Customer response after purchasing:

In amazon, this laptop got a 4.5 out of 5 rating due to its remarkable performance. Not only its price is considered reasonable but also its touch screen, weight and colors quality is marked amazing. Customers like that product. Moreover, fast shipping is seen there as well. Its battery timing is much good for gamers and also recharge time is much quicker than others. Great product for the use in home, office as well.

But some people who are a little bit against this product said that its battery life is satisfactory but not so much huge. It does not support a backlit keyboard. Also, this computer is Home S mode, not that one which is listed. Moreover, its hard drive looks a little bit low to some of its buyers.

These are some factors that customers dislike in that laptop but overall this is one of the best laptops especially for long-time next-level gaming.

4)HP Laptop 14: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

You could do worse than the HP Laptop 14-dq2020nr if you have a limited budget for a new Windows notebook, but be prepared to deal with its limitations. Featuring a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, the HP 14s (2020) laptop features a 14-inch screen with Windows 10 Home. With a Core i3 processor and 4GB of RAM, the laptop can perform any task you need it to. There is a 1TB hard drive included as well as a webcam. Those looking for a stylish gadget that performs well at a great price have found an excellent choice in HP Pavilion 14. With an 11th-generation Core i5, the Pavilion 14 is equipped with one of the most technologically advanced chips available right now. Although it doesn’t have the same battery life as competitors, it does have style in spades if you want it.

This is a chintzy 1080P screen with no pop colors, a bland and flat display, and little contrast. An exhibition with an IPS panel doesn’t have the wide view angle you would expect, but the lettering is sharp, and details are minimally distorted. However, white backgrounds look dull, and the brightness is inadequate.

Using the keyboard feels hollow, almost echoing, which makes typing unpleasant. There is no physical button on this small, buttonless touchpad, so it glides and taps smoothly but clicks stiffly.

HP’s 14-dq2020nr laptop is a pretty good choice if you need some power for going online or doing homework in a little bit of an attractive package. The quad-core Core i3 CPU easily beats the Pentiums and Celerons still lining the Low end; it also has an impressive array of ports.

When we have fully recharged the laptop, we set it up in power-saving mode when possible and perform a few other tweaks to minimize battery drain for our unplugged video rundown test. This test is looping a short clip, 720p file of Tears of Steel from the Blender Foundation, with screen brightness and volume set at 50% and 100% until the system shuts down. (We also turn off Wi-Fi, putting the laptop into airplane mode.)

With HP’s laptop lines, you can choose between touch-enabled laptops at varying price points for work and home use. You have plenty of options and advantages to consider whether you are moving more of your routine to touch or whether you want to use touch for specific tasks. Laptops with 14-inch screens are usually smaller, making them more portable. Consequently, they are easier to carry around in a case. So, for those who travel frequently and work on the go, a 14-inch laptop would be a perfect choice.

What is HP Laptop 14?Is it good for gaming?

HP Pavilion 14 is an attractive, solid, and affordable laptop that can handle most tasks, including video calls, browsing the web and social media, streaming music, and light photo editing. Although it has some drawbacks, some may find the display too dim, and the touch screen isn’t essential. Despite this, the device is portable and compact, making it the perfect choice for those who hot desk or work from home in part.

A fingerprint reader offers additional security, while HDMI and Display Port 1.4 support allow the laptop to be hooked up to one or more monitors. The Pavilion 14 is pricier than most budget laptops, but its overall value makes it worth the extra money. Besides that, there are models with higher performance when you need a Core i5 processor or a larger SSD.

The pavilion features performance and style at an affordable price, making it a favorite choice for consumers. There are many visually appealing features on this laptop. Even though the price is mid-range, it has elegance due to the silver aluminum chassis. You don’t get the chunkiness you find in some business laptops, and it looks polished and is designed for office use.

Most importantly, though, it’s portable. Pavilion 14 is exceptionally light, weighing 1.46kg. There are more lightweight laptops on the market. The laptop is also incredibly compact. It’s easy to carry with one hand if you have to run to the kitchen or a conference room right away. Likewise, you can comfortably balance it on your lap if you’re traveling by train. The Pavilion 15 laptops don’t have a numeric pad, which means your desk (or lap) will have more space, while the slim profile and space-efficient keyboard reduce the overall footprint even when closed. Pavilion 14 does not include a Kensington lock port. Still, a fingerprint reader is an additional selling point to make the laptop an excellent choice for those working from home or blending home and office routines.

I found the fingerprint reader itself to be reliable the vast majority of the time. It was sometimes necessary to shift my finger for a more accurate reading, but I was never permanently banned for failure.

In addition to being available directly from HP, Currys PC World offers the HP Pavilion 14 for £549.99. However, it would be best to opt for the Core i5-1135G7 version with an RRP of £649.99 instead. If you want a Core i3, this model is ‘dv0014na’—Lenovo and HP models with 512GB SSDs available at Currys PC World for £699.99.

Pavilion 14 offers a compelling balance between price and performance despite being one of the cheapest budget laptops available. For roughly the same price, its only real competitor is the Honor MagicBook 14, which offers better performance and longer battery life. The MagicBook 14 is hard to find, however, in UK outlets.

What’s the battery life of HP Laptop 14?

With the Pavilion 14, you’ll get average battery life. According to our video loop battery test, we could squeeze out 7 hours and 21 minutes of usage from the device. Even though that’s not the worst we’ve seen, many laptops would be able to go a lot longer if this is an important area.

In our tests, the Pavilion 14 recovered 37% of its battery life within 30 minutes, suitable for two or three hours of usage – or even longer if you set the battery optimization mode. The battery can be recharged to 87 percent of its original capacity in one hour and nearly 110 percent in an hour and a half.

Does the Pavillon 14 HP laptop have Thunderbolt 3?

HP’s Pavilion 14 doesn’t have a Thunderbolt 3 port but otherwise is a well-equipped laptop with a nice display. In addition, HP includes a 1 TB Toshiba XG6 KXG60ZNV1T02 SSD in the device, which is comparatively quick. While the HP has not equipped with Thunderbolt 3 ports, it scores highly for connectivity. There are three ports on the left side of the device: an HDMI port, a USB 3.1 Type-A port for charging devices, an Ethernet port, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port.

What’s the difference between Lenovo Idea pad L340 and HP Laptop 14?

The Idea pad L340 is a sub-$700 laptop that runs on older-generation hardware, like the Pavilion 15. The cheap and light HP machine is also a better choice for those who like to game on the go, provided they’re looking for a Wow-ready machine.

The RAM only comes in 8GB DIMMs, and there is only one slot, which makes upgrading a little tricky. Despite the many system bottlenecks, there is an M.2 SSD to alleviate them.

The HP Pavilion 15 comes across as more like a premium laptop than a mid-range laptop at first glance. The sharp edges and smooth silver finish might make you think it’s a gaming keyboard, but without the RGB glam.

This includes a pleasingly attractive, understated look despite showcasing a modern and appealingly thin bezel with a 720p webcam attached. The build quality of this device is solid, with aluminum primarily used to ensure it can withstand drops. Since I bought this laptop two months ago, I have used it at home and work what I find to be the laptop’s pros and cons, significantly where I differ from my expectations. This is a laptop that I would recommend. There’s a good screen, too. And the 1920×1080 resolution is excellent. It’s a dense screen at 15″, and if your eyesight is deteriorating, you might find things too small. However, it’s a gorgeous screen all around!

Is HP 14 laptop suitable for heavy competitive gaming?

Featuring an Intel Core i3-7100U CPU, Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics, and 4 GB of RAM, this HP laptop features Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics. A 14-inch laptop weighing just 3.15 pounds (1.43 kilograms) is smaller but lighter than a 16 inch one. Sadly, this laptop is not compatible with games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, PUBG, and GTA V.

What is your opinion about the HP Laptop 14?

Since I bought this laptop two months ago, I have used it at home and work what I find to be the laptop’s pros and cons, significantly where I differ from my expectations. This is a laptop that I would recommend. There’s a good screen, too. And the 1920×1080 resolution is excellent. It’s a dense screen at 15″, and if your eyesight is deteriorating, you might find things too small. However, it’s a gorgeous screen all around!

Having a solid-state drive and plenty of RAM makes this system extremely fast. My jaw dropped when I noticed how quickly it boots. It is somewhat flimsy on the power button. I won’t be able to use this button for ten years if I use it every day. When not in use, I usually put my computer into “sleep” mode, which I can wake instantly with a keystroke. As a result, I only use the actual power button perhaps once every two weeks, hopefully, prolong its lifespan.

Further he said that, Occasionally, my computer wakes up by itself when in “sleep” mode. I am not sure why this occurs. There must be a setting that causes it to happen. Upon further investigation, it turned out that the external USB mouse attached to my laptop was automatically configured as one that could wake it from sleep if the mouse moved. The computer started to wake up less frequently after I disabled that, but it did not stop it.

While the device is well designed and lightweight, it picks up the internet very slowly, and there is no evidence that it is 5G capable. Compared to his Acer laptop, which is 100 Mbps, I am getting only 37 Mbps. My purchase was for school purposes, but I can’t use it.

With the 15.6″ screen, the 2 lb lighter weight and the easy-to-use interface, this laptop is a marked improvement over my previous 17″ screen, heavy HP laptop. My primary uses of this device are writing and watching videos, and I also play games on it. As described in the product description, it does not come with office 365, but audio and video are excellent.

Customer response after purchasing:

This wonderful laptop had given a 4.4 out of 5 rating on Amazon. This means that its features and working performance are considered satisfactory by most people.

The people who like that sleek product said that for gaming and picture quality, It is 5 stars unbeatable product. Its casing color is liked by many customers. Its processor and RAM are beasts if we look toward its price factor. Much cheap price and it is easy to afford. Moreover, it is fingerprint supportive as well. So that is much enjoyed at that range of price.

Some people that didn’t like this product declared this laptop not good and said that its keyboard was slightly stiff down. Also, the touch screen is not seen there so that many customers are not happy for that but we will expect touch in its upgradable features.

5)ASUS VivoBook F512JA: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

With a stylish design and striking color schemes, the VivoBook F512JA-AS34 is a beautifully manufactured laptop. Last but not least, Asus has broken away from the silver aluminum theme it had used with the Asus ZenBook 3, and it happens to be offering what we’ve always wanted: unique colors on a budget laptop. Grey, coral crush, grey, and transparent silver were also shown in slate gray and blue. However, slate gray is the show-stopper for me.

VivoBook F512JA-AS34 has a fine collection of ports for a laptop that is just 0.7-inches thick, but Thunderbolt 3 would have made it even better. You will find two USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, and LED indicators for battery life and charging on the left side of the device. In addition to a DC jack and USB Type-C port, there’s an HDMI port, a USB 3.1 port, and a headphone jack.

The only disappointment would be if the display were not as vibrant. A 15.6-inch display on the Asus VivoBook 15 is bright and clear but fails to deliver perfect colors. Only 68 percent of the sRGB spectrum can be reproduced by this screen, which is lower than competing laptops like the Lenovo Ideapad 530s (72 percent) or the Acer Aspire 5 (74 percent), both of which feature a lackluster display.

As a result of the island-style keyboard design and its unique ErgoLift elevated hinge, the Asus F512JA-AS34 is exceptionally comfortable to type on, despite some shortcomings such as shallow essential travel. A 15-inch laptop gets external keys, and the keyboard has a journey of 1 millimeter. It’s always better to have at least 1.5 millimeters of essential travel, but the keyboard has a lot to offer as well.

If you are live streamer than Read this blog to buy best MacBook for it.

Asus VivoBook 15 (F512JA-AS34) offers good performance for a notebook priced at less than $500 and is on the beefy side compared with competing Chromebooks like the HP Chromebook 14 from last year. In addition to offering strong performance coupled with efficiency, the 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1005G1 also includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage to give it a definite edge over other machines.

With Intel UHD graphics, you can run basic tasks that use an integrated graphics card pretty well but aren’t powerful enough to power AAA gaming.

The Asus VivoBook 15 produces good battery life that is not great thanks to its energy-efficient CPU. The Aspire 5 lasts nine hours and twenty-seven minutes with a single charge, compared to the IdeaPad 530s’ seven hours and forty-three minutes. In terms of mainstream laptops, the average runtime of 7:28 is about an hour shorter than that of the VivoBook 15.

In addition to its large display and sound design, the Asus VivoBook 15 delivers strong performance overall while offering excellent connectivity and a reasonable price. Even so, the battery life on this budget 15-inch laptop isn’t excellent but still affordable.

Customer response after purchasing: best gaming laptop under $500

It has a 4 out of 5-star rating in AMAZON. That little low. This means that its buyer has some issues with that product. In my point of view, it’s the best one according to its features like 8 GB RAM with 3.6 GHz processor speed. Let’s see what customers think about it.

There is a much lag issue here while running heavy programs. Also, its speaker stops working after some time. One customer recommends this gadget just for official work at office and school, for other purposes, it’s not much good.

But many customers are satisfied with this product. They considered its battery timing, screen touch, keyboard much well to use. Also playing games at this cheap rate product is a good experience here in ASUS. its plenty of features supports extraordinary gaming.

9)Dell Inspiron 14 3000: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

The Dell Inspiron 14 3000 sounds like a good choice if you’re looking for a basic laptop with a 14-inch screen mainly for surfing the web. With the Waves MaxxAudio Pro software, you can also adjust the speakers’ volume when the device is running off a fast 32GB flash drive, all for $180 ($230 with Office 365 Personal). The Dell Inspiron 14 3000 laptop runs Windows 10 Home and has a 14″ display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. A Dual-core Celeron processor and 2GB of RAM make this device highly capable. There are 32GB of Hard Drive storage on the Dell Inspiron 14 3000.

A plastic chassis like that of the Dell Inspiron 14 3000 feels cheap, and a finely textured material covers both the cover and the palm rest, which only adds to the device’s down-market appearance. In addition, the touchpad feels rougher than those on other devices with similar specs. A minimalist design such as this video looks equally appropriate in a classroom as in a corporate meeting.

A Dell Inspiron 14 3000 is outranked on almost all benchmarks despite featuring many of the same components as its competition — including a 1.6-GHz Intel Celeron N3060 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and an Intel HD Graphics 400 GPU. On the Dell, opening the Start menu or a large spreadsheet takes a few extra seconds to access YouTube. Its sluggish performance is puzzling, especially considering the Ideapad 100S-14 with 2 GB of RAM gives a slightly faster overall experience.

This laptop leaves the least amount of free space between all the others in our comparison group, the Dell Inspiron 14 3000. In reality, only 29.1GB of onboard memory is accessible. Inspiron 14 users are left with only about 7GB for personal files or system updates due to Windows 10 taking up 16.8GB and preloaded software taking up 5.31GB.

Although the Ideapad 100S-14 is quite generous, the Stream 11 offers 9.54GB of memory, while the Ideapad 100S-14 offers 9.68GB. We could not install and run benchmark tests like 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited in our lab due to the lack of free space.

What’s the best iPad and PC laptop combo? I’m thinking about getting a cheap gaming laptop and an iPad Pro.

A laptop/iPad combo, or 2-in-1, of some sort may fit the bill if you want maximum flexibility from your portable computing device — though the price may be higher than a regular laptop due to the touch screen, stylus, and other extra features that may be required, such as a 360-degree rotating screen hinge.

You should be able to find a 2-in-1 device that suits both ‘iPad-first’ and ‘laptop-first’ use cases, so you should be able to find one that works for you. Keep a watch out for fresh advances in this field, as well as form factor innovation.

Here are some best iPad and PC Laptop Combos

·         Dell XPS 13 2-in-1

·         Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook

·         Microsoft Surface Pro 7+

·         Lenovo Yoga 9i (14-inch)

·         Microsoft Surface Go 2

·         Microsoft Surface Book 3

10)Asus Vivobook F512DA: best gaming laptop under $500

best gaming laptop under $500
best gaming laptop under $500

With its sleek design and innovation, the ASUS VivoBook 15 F512DA-EB51 proves that a notebook doesn’t have to be premium to be innovative. Asus’ exclusive ZenBook S-inspiration device features the new ErgoLift hinge, which angles the keyboard so that the user can type comfortably. As if the premium design wasn’t impressive enough, the new VivoBook 15 is also available in five beautiful colors, including a stunning transparent silver variant and coral crush.

A well-designed laptop with an exciting color scheme and slick design, the VivoBook F512DA-EB51 is ideal for any user. We’re finally getting what we’ve always demanded: unique colors in a budget laptop from Asus. The ZenBook 3 experimented with silver aluminum, and now they’re breaking free of it. The slate gray and blue finishes were presented, while coral crush, grey and transparent silver were also shown. Among them, the slate gray was the most desirable.

Our only wish is that Asus would use an equally vibrant display with such a premium design. A 15.6-inch 1080p display is provided by the Asus VivoBook 15, which is bright and sharp but often fails to deliver perfect colors. There is a notable difference between Apple’s MacBook Air screen display and other laptops with light displays. The Lenovo Ideapad 530s’ Display displays only 72 percent of the RGB color spectrum, while the Acer Aspire 5 displays 74 percent.

In addition to its island-style keyboard, the VivoBook F512DA-EB55 includes an ErgoLift elevated hinge that compensates for the critical travel being shallow. Although the keys are superficial for a 15-inch laptop, the keyboard has a millimeter of travel. The keyboard is capable of great things as well, including a critical trip of 1.5 mm or less.

VivoBook 15 delivers a smooth experience for daily productivity tasks thanks to its AMD Quad-Core R5-3500U CPU and 8GB of RAM. While simultaneously loading three 1080p YouTube videos will load 20 Google Chrome tabs efficiently and without lagging. SSD drives provide improved loading speeds compared to traditional spinning hard drives, improving speedy performance.

Asus’ VivoBook 15 is its best effort to cram plenty of power and premium design into a small and budget laptop. This is a very usable laptop with skinny bezels, beautiful construction, and an exceptionally excellent keyboard and touchpad. Additionally, there are no performance compromises, even though the display colors are not the most vivid we’ve seen.

Which is better for gaming, an Acer Aspire 5 Notebook or an Asus VivoBook F512DA?

The Asus VivoBook 15 produces good battery life that is not great thanks to its energy-efficient CPU. The Aspire 5 lasts nine hours and twenty-seven minutes with a single charge, compared to the IdeaPad 530s’ seven hours and forty-three minutes.

Asus F512JA-AS34 is exceptionally comfortable to type on, despite some shortcomings such as shallow essential travel. A 15-inch laptop gets external keys, and the keyboard has a journey of 1 millimeter. It’s always better to have at least 1.5 millimeters of essential travel, but the keyboard has a lot to offer as well.

Asus VivoBook 15 (F512JA-AS34) offers good performance for a notebook priced at less than $500 and is on the beefy side compared with competing Chromebooks like the HP Chromebook 14 from last year.

What is your opinion about the Asus VivoBook 15 F512DA?

You should consider the Asus TUF FX505DD if you’re interested in buying a cheap WoW machine.

A laptop with its Ryzen 3550H processor and GTX 1050 is laughable for regular gaming. On battery, the integrated graphics chip on the Ryzen CPU is also powerful enough to allow for an enjoyable WoW experience, as with the Lenovo IdeaPad L340. For such demanding titles as Fortnite or Forza, the NVIDIA GTX 1050 is more than capable.

The laptop’s keyboard has a backlit version, and the key you are most likely to use in games, WASD, has distinguishing diffusers. The body is made entirely of plastic, cheap, durable, and will last if properly cared for. It’s not spectacular by any means, but there are enough subtle accents and elements that it’s easy to believe this are a gaming laptop.

What do you know about the ASUS F512DA-EB51 VivoBook and what do you don’t know about it?

I purchased ASUS F512DA-EB51 Vivo Book for playing games. The game runs smoothly at 100 frames per second with the highest settings enabled. It uses the factory 8GB of memory without any modification. Wireless and wired tests have been completed. It features a beautiful HD display, and Stuttering and lag have been eliminated. The build quality is superb, and it performs perfectly for the task at hand. If you want to run a million Steam games on your PC but do not want a big hard drive, you may want to upgrade to the next model up.

Even after removing bloatware, the hard drive was almost complete after downloading Star dew Valley, World of Warcraft, Heros of the Storm, and Sky rim. However, it plays games as well as when it was brand new. Thus far, there have been no problems, and I have not had any issues with the computer’s gaming capabilities. I can’t wait to play the vintage console games that make up my embarrassingly extensive steam library. There is no mouse included with the laptop since the touchpad is a little messed up.

What’s the difference between Dell G5 15 and ASUS F512DA-EB51 Vivo Book?

Dell’s G5 15 gaming laptop aims to provide outstanding gaming performance at a mid-range price. The G5 series offer alternatives to Alien ware laptops, and the G5 series is available in various configurations. In addition to having a midrange processor, it comes with an NVIDIA GPU, a 15-inch FHD IPS display, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD storage, and a LED-backlit keyboard. Despite being a generation older than the 10th Gen CPUs that will replace it, the i7-9750H does not disappoint and performs nearly as well.

For gaming and computer use, its base clock speed of 2.6GHz and turbo clock speed of 4.5GHz will more than suffice. It draws a relatively small amount of power, which in turn helps the battery life. The 4GB 1650 is one of the weaker discrete GPUs on the market, but it is also energy efficient.

Gaming laptop ASUS ASUS F512DA-EB51 provides value and performance for an affordable price.

The ASUS F512DA-EB51 is neither cheap nor expensive but is still a good laptop for gaming. This gaming laptop shadowland is a good option due to its reasonable price tag and decent features.

The design of the ASUS F512DA-EB51 is heavily geared towards quality and durability. While it isn’t a flagship gaming device, it features the latest components from NVIDIA and AMD. With its AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor, the ASUS A15 is a gaming machine with a combination of performance and valuehttps://techtacts.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=39&action=edithttps://techtacts.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=39&action=edit.

How About Battery life Issues:

Yeah most people have issues in battery timing of their laptops while playing heavy games. Thats true, battery life will made issues at the time when you play heavy games for few horse because your processor, GPU and every component delivers its maximum performance which ruin out all the battery of your laptop.

Average laptops provide battery timing of 6-7 hours which are enough for office or other works but in gaming its not much good.

Also laptops battery can not be upgradable, its only be changed and you will insert other battery.

After looking at this problem I will suggest you two things while playing game to avoid these issues.

Firstly, always plugin charger so that there is no risk of decreasing life span of battery and laptop starts slow down.

Secondly, if you are playing games at that place where you cant find switch for plugin charger then go to the menu bar and low your gaming settings. So that GPU doesnot find much load and its maintaining your battery timing. But this procedure little bit disturbs your gaming experience.

How Much RAM is Best For Gamining:

On of the most important key feature for gaming laptops is RAM. because the main purpose that RAM do is to enhance the working performance of applications running on it. So its number must be high if you want fast and lag free laptop. 4GB DDR4 can be good for you if you are playing normal games and running daily use applications like internet browsers, movies etc. But if we talk about little bit high gaming then 4 GB stuck off at some spot and you feel its low performance.

So I am recommending you here to choose that laptop which provides at least 8 GD DDR4 RAM for better experience. Moreover, its just on your budget to choose more accurate RAM like 16 GB for ultra fast gaming, but I think 8 GB is good for gamers.

Also keep in mind one thing that before choosing laptop, must look on to its RAM upradable slot so that in future you find working performance low then you can easily upgrade its RAM.

Laptop Heating:

Once a gamer stick to the laptop it requies minimum 2-3 hours time for non stop gaming. So in that much time, laptop heat up conitiously which causes many internal issues to the laptop and it also disturb its working performance too. As every features upgrading day by day but for cooling there are still fans and heatsinks. So i would recommend you to power off your device after few hours for few minutes so that it comes to its normal temperature. If not then look on towards the cooling procedure of  your laptop. For complete cooling process simply click here:

Connectivity:

This feature is important in the sense that you have to connect your laptop with peripherals and other pc or LCD for multi setups. But this can not be done if you dont have a better connectivitry options.

  • Ethernet port is compulsory because sometimes you dont have a WIFI connection.
  • USB type A, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 is compulsory for data transfer. Now a days USB type C is more up due to its high performance so dont forget to choose that.
  • SD card slot for transferring media in a much easier and faster way.
  • Thunderbolt slot so that your Macbook can be connected to others monitor.
  • Video connectivity slot for high picture display.

Processor

In any computing system, the processor is the most crucial component. The speed at which it processes data is what determines how good a computer is. You can significantly improve your gaming experience and game play by optimizing your computer’s performance. To make an informed buying decision, you have to research the processor before buying a laptop. It’s usually recommended to have at least the Core-i5 processor with high-end games to handle them correctly. However, this does not mean that older processors will not work for playing games. You can still utilize the i5 processor, but your experience will be less than with a core i5.

You will most likely find this configuration in most laptops under 500 dollars, and you will need to spend much more on an upgraded model. To do this, you must choose a CPU that meets your budget and is fast.

A graphic card

Aside from the processor, graphics cards are a significant factor in game play. The smoother the game play with a higher frame rate, the better the experience will be. You’ll need a dedicated graphics card.

This budget Integrated Graphics unit is typical of what you get for Integrated Graphics. Even so, you will still find laptops that are equipped with better graphics cards. This means that your graphics card and the RAM decide the speed of your games that it is combined with. To play modern 3D games at their highest settings, you must purchase a dedicated graphics card with excellent performance.

Making an excellent graphic card the top priority for the gaming laptop isn’t easy, so make sure you pick one that’s got decent performance. Fortunately, many games are available on the market today that does not require graphic cards from either NVIDIA or AMD.

Performance Expectations in Gaming

You are unlikely to play even moderately demanding games with the best FPS performance when you spend $500 on a gaming laptop. Under $500, you won’t get the same performance from gaming laptops since they have integrated graphics (part of the CPU), not a dedicated GPU.

Even on medium-high settings, older games may run reasonably well, but you’ll need to splash out to play new games unless they’re low-requirements (like Crusader Kings III, which uses a map-based strategy system). You may find the best option for your needs in our guide to the best gaming laptops under $1,000. As an alternative to mobile devices, we recommend checking out our $700 self-built gaming PC or our prebuilt gaming PC for under $880 if mobility isn’t a concern for you. Ultimately, desktop computers for the same price provide nearly 50% more performance than laptops since laptops are limited by their power and cooling systems, severely hamper performance.

Consider Buying A Refurbished Laptop

On WPC, we rarely recommend refurbished products: while they’re worth considering, we generally assume that you can find any of our recommended products in a refurbished state for less money (unless they’re brand new, of course), so to mention all of them would be excessive. You choose if you want to buy a product second-hand from us! We promote brand new products, not second-hand ones!

Although laptop FPS performance in the under $500 budget range is severely limited, we think it’s occasionally worthwhile mentioning some refurbished laptops for under $500 (that would typically cost more than this) to illustrate the fact it may be the better choice.

Alternatively, you may wish to check out our guides on the Best Gaming Laptops under $600, $700, and $800 and see if you can locate any options listed there at refurbished discounts. You won’t get a warranty or other benefits with a brand-new gaming laptop when you buy a refurbished model.

The maximum rate of refresh

A desktop replacement is pretty much impossible if you’re budget is under $500 (unless you’re willing to go refurbished). Generally, you’ll have to settle for 60Hz for gaming at this price range, which means you will have to play at a maximum of 60 frames per second. For competitive gaming, such laptops cannot be recommended. However, for slower-paced RPGs, strategy games, and adventure games, where reaction time is not a priority, you should be able to use them, though the overall experience will be less immersive. Purchasing a second-hand laptop may be the only solution if this isn’t what you’re looking for.

Resolution

Whatever gaming laptop you choose, you will only be able to get a 1920 x 1080 resolution at $500 or less. At least $1,000 must be spent on a 1440p monitor and almost certainly more. It isn’t necessarily a drawback for many gamers – 1080p is still the ideal resolution for any competitive gamer and gaming laptops less than 15″ may not be worth the money (unless you are using it as a workstation).

RAM and hard drive

A gaming laptop under $500 with a disk drive or SSD larger than 256GB is infrequent, although occasionally, an option with 512GB might appear here. With many new PC games requiring over 50GB of disk space, WPC believes 256GB is too small to be useful for most gamers, and this is in addition to the space occupied by the operating system and other software used by most laptops users.

We would recommend, wherever possible, upgrading 256GB SSDs to at least 512GB or supplemental SSDs or hard drives.

Similarly, memory specifications are not often found at this price range above 8GB, and upgrading this to at least 16GB has become almost optional.

Replicate a color

If you’re only playing games, a $500 budget can still provide you with a reasonably good color gamut. Even if you plan on doing some light design alongside your gaming, though, you won’t get a laptop display that replicates 100% of the sRGB standard, and color accuracy won’t be an issue. The cost of a television that can serve both purposes will be considered if you want a gaming laptop with such capabilities.

Storage

You should also consider the type of storage provided by the laptop as well as its capacity. As far as high-end games are concerned, they will be anywhere between 50-100 GB, and some of them may exceed 100 GB. Consequently, you should have enough space on your laptop to save all the games you have and other data you may have.

The next thing you need to look at is the amount of storage with the laptop. SSDs offer higher transfer rates and can significantly improve loading times compared to HDDs. This is why it is highly recommended that you opt for one over the other. SSDs, however, need at least 256 GB of storage. A hard disk drive requires at least 500GB of storage, while an SSD requires only 2GB. These differences occur because you play fewer games on your hard drive.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

 1. Can gaming laptops be used for everyday tasks?

So, are gaming laptops suitable for use every day? It depends on your personal preferences. It would be great to use your gaming laptop every day if you only played games on it. In addition, it would also be a good choice for users looking for a CPU-GPU combination on the go.

2. What are the types of games I want to play?

The games you can play will depend on your budget, as we said at the beginning of an article. If you want to spend $500 or less, you are mostly limited to older games or less graphically demanding titles. Moreover, the settings will likely have to be downgraded as well.

3. What is the recommended amount of RAM for gaming?

For a high-speed, high-performance gaming experience, 16GB of memory is recommended. It will allow you to play new games and avoid lag and stuttering issues by having this much RAM installed on your computer. In general, 8GB of free space is usually sufficient for most games.

4. Can you play games with 4GB of RAM?

The RAM you need is 8GB or 12GB if you want to play games with high graphics, which will immediately enable you to access your favorite games. Will 4GB RAM suffice in 2020? In general, 4GB of RAM should be sufficient. Android devices automatically manage RAM for various applications by using the operating system’s built-in methods.

5. How much should I spend on a gaming laptop?

If you’re looking for a great deal on a laptop, you should consider that range of $800 to $1,000. You can’t get everything you want for this amount of money, but getting an excellent laptop in essential areas is possible. If you want a gaming computer, you will have to spend more, and you should budget at least $1,500 for this purpose.

6. What is the average lifespan of a gaming laptop?

A good mid-range gaming laptop should last for three to four years, and you could get 4-6 years out of it if you get an expensive model. As far as the physical components are concerned, there is a life expectancy of up to 10 years. Often, however, your gaming notebook will be unable to handle all the new updates by then.

7. Are gaming laptops longer lasting than regular laptops?

Laptops designed for gaming can also last longer than standard laptops. Hardware quality, how the computers are used, and how they are maintained determine how useful they are. Gamer laptops, however, are generally more durable than regular laptops.

8. What’s the Best $500 Gaming Laptop?

Unless you are willing to spend more than $500, the gaming laptop you will get for that price isn’t going to be terrific. It won’t work with anything but the lowest graphics settings to play the latest games at this price. And even then, if the game is highly demanding, you’ll likely have trouble playing it. Buying a gaming laptop for $1,000 or a prebuilt desktop gaming PC for $500 or $800 is a better investment, especially if portability is not your primary concern.

9. Which are the best budget laptops for gaming?

The term ‘budget’ laptop is not defined clearly, though it is generally accepted that any model below $1,000 comes within this category. The best gaming laptops under $800, $700, $600, and $500 can all be found in our guides on the best laptops at these respective prices.

10. Which is the cheapest gaming laptop?

It isn’t easy to discern whether laptops that cost less than $500 are suitable for gaming despite their marketing. Ultimately, it comes down to what level of graphical settings you want, depending on what games you intend to play. The latest AAA FPS games require at least $1,000 to be played at medium settings at a decent frame rate. It is possible to pay as little as $500, $600, or $700 for older titles or games with less graphic demand (indy or strategy games, for instance).

11. Should you buy a gaming laptop for under $500?

You can never be too sure when purchasing a cheap laptop. 500 USD is quite a small budget for a gaming laptop if you’re unfamiliar with the price point, and it simply goes to show that you get what you pay for. Assuming you are reading this article for a laptop to play newer games at a decent frame rate, I’m assuming that you’re looking for a computer with medium to high settings. It won’t be easy to live up to these high expectations with 500 USD.

These cheap gaming laptops under $500 are perfect for students who want a cheap gaming laptop for gaming under $500.

14. Can a gaming laptop handle everything?

You can run any of those programs on any regular laptop with a modern CPU without any problems. In contrast, a gaming laptop may be better suited if you perform graphics-intensive tasks, such as video editing, Photoshop, graphic design, or 3D modeling. Be aware, however, that gaming laptops are not as portable as laptops for others.

15. What is a good processor speed for gaming laptops?

3.5 GHz to 4.0 GHz

The consensus is that 3.5 GHz to 4.0 GHz is a good clock speed for gaming, but performance may be more critical for single-threaded tasks. In other words, your CPU is excellent at comprehending and completing single studies, and it would be best if you did not confuse this with having a single-core processor.

16. Can gaming laptops overheat?

Gamers’ laptops get very hot because they are equipped with powerful processors and dedicated graphics cards which generate a lot of heat as the computer is used. Gaming performance decreases due to thermal throttling caused by overheating. Premature hardware failure can also be attributed to extremely high temperatures.

21. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a gaming laptop?

Advantages
  • Gaming laptops have a powerful motherboard, which makes them better than regular laptops. In such cases, however, you should settle for another laptop if your budget is limited. Robust hardware usually requires more RAM and processing power; hence, it will be more expensive. However, it is worth paying for the extra RAM and processing power.
Disadvantages
  • Gamer laptops have several disadvantages, but the most significant one is how power-hungry they are. The size of these computers is smaller, but they consume more power than traditional desktop computers. A laptop also uses quite a bit of battery power, which can deplete the battery quickly. There has been a significant shift towards power-saving techniques to deal with this problem, however.
